Cranberry Apple Pumpkin Muffins

Ingredients
1- 15 oz. can pumpkin puree1/2 cup sugar1/2 cup maple syrup1/2 cup olive oil1/2 cup milk1 tsp. vanilla extract2 3/4 cup white whole-wheat flour1 T. aluminum-free baking powder1 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 tsp. ground ginger1/4 tsp. ground cloves1/8 tsp. grated nutmeg1/2 tsp. salt1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped1/2 cup apples, chopped
Directions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Line muffin tin with paper liners or spray with non-stick spray.
In large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin, maple syrup, sugar, olive oil, milk and vanilla until well combined.
In a separate bowl sift together the flour, baking powder & soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and stir until just combined. Fold in the cranberries and apples.
Spoon the mixture into prepared muffin tin. Place the tin in the oven and REDUCE THE OVEN TEMPERATURE TO 375. Bake until toothpick comes out clean, 25-30 minutes. Let stand in muffin tin for 5 minutes, then place on cooling rack.
