Mexican Soup with Butternut Squash

Ingredients:Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 16 oz Onions, raw, 1 medium dicedGarlic, 4 cloves, mincedCumin seed, 1.5 tspChili powder, 1.5 tspButternut Squash, 2 cup, cubes2 Large Gold potatoes, peeled and dicedCarrots, raw, 3 medium peeled and choppedGreen Chili Peppers, canned, 1 cupOrganic Vegetable Broth, 1 QuartSalt and Pepper to tasteLime Juice to taste (yield from 1 fresh lime)2-3 Tablespoons Cilantrosweetener if needed
Brown turkey with the chopped onion.
Put all ingredients in a crock pot and cook according to manufactures instructions until done. About 6-8 hours on low.
About 20 minutes before serving stir in lime juice and Cilantro. Add a little sweetener if needed to balance the spice.
Sprinkle a little cheese on top if desired.
Serving Size: Makes about 10 - 1.5 cup servings
