Spanish Noodle Casserole

1.5lbs. lean ground turkey or beef1c. chopped onions3/4c. chopped green pepper8oz. rotini, cooked3/4lb. shredded American or Cheddar cheese, divided1 can tomato soup1 6oz. can tomato paste1 can niblet style corn2tsp. chili powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown and drain meat, onions, and peppers. Add all ingredients save for 1/2 cup of cheese in mixing bowl and mix well. Pour mixture into lightly greased or Pam sprayed baking dish (One 3-4 quart or two 1 1/2 quart casserole pans work well), top with reserved shredded cheese.* Bake for 60 minutes.
*Here recipe can be frozen. Wrap well in saran wap and heavy duty foil. To use defrost overnight in fridge or bring to room temperature before baking. It will usually need to be cooked an additional 15 minutes or so.
