Black bean & mushroom soup

Ingredients
Canned Black Beans, 1 cupRed Onion, 1/2 dicedCanola Oil, 3 tbspWhite Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cups slicedVegetable bouillon ,1 cubeCumin seed, 1 tbspWater, about 4 cupsKosher Salt, to tastePepper, black, to taste
Directions
Dice and saute the onion in the canola oil. Add the mushrooms and cook for a couple minutes. Add the beans (undrained) and water to the desired soup consistency. Add the cumin, bouillon cube, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Cover and let simmer 15 minutes.
