Apple Torte

3 Tbsp: Butter, unsalted3/4 cup: Sugar, white1: Egg1 tsp: Vanilla extract1 cup: All-purpose Flour1 tsp: Baking Soda1/2 tsp: Cinnamon, ground1/2 tsp: Nutmeg, ground1/2 tsp: Salt3 cups: Apples, peeled and diced3 Tbsp: Walnuts, chopped
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
2. Stir together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture (batter will be very thick).
3. Stir in apples and walnuts.
4. Spread into an 8-inch square baking pan, coated with cooking spray.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes or until cake tests done
6. Serve warm or cold.
