Breadman Basic White/French Bread (1.5 LBS)

Ingredients
1& 1/8 cup water (80 degrees F. or 27 degrees C.)2 tsp. sugar3 tsp. salt3 cups flour2.5 tsp. active/instant dry yeast
Directions

1.)In respect to the order given here (typed), add the first 4 ingredients to the bread maker (no need to mix them, the machine will do it for you).

2.)Make a small well in the top of the flour in the bread machine and put your yeast in that well (so that it is not touching any water).

3.) Follow your machine directions to bake. (On mine, I set it to 1.5LB/BASIC/DARK)

4.) Let cool (mostly) before slicing. I cut mine in half and then slice it so that I get 16 nice, thick, satisfying slices. Also, it slices MUCH easier when you cut in in half first since bread made in a machine it always tall.

**NOTE** You can always add 1&1/2 tsp. of Caraway Seeds to give it a very mild rye flavor if you would like to!
