Hearty Mixed Bean and Bacon Soup

Ingredients
3 c. dried bean mix with lentils (soak overnight)4 cups water or enough to cover beans over 1"1 med. carrot, sliced1 large celery stalk, sliced1/2 c. chopped onion3 - 4 slices of bacon, fried crisp and chopped1 - 2 T of bacon drippings2 t. creole seasoning (more if you like to spice things up some)1 t. black pepperSoak beans overnight. Drain and rinse. Put beans with the rest of ingredients in crock pot. Cook on high 4 hours or low 6 hours. The longer you soak the beans the less cooking time required.
