Ingredients: Beans, black, .5 cup soakedStewed Tomatoes no salt added, 0.5 cup Meijer Organic Tomato Paste, 2 tbsp low saltPeppers, sweet, red, raw, chop, .25 cup Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped Ground beef, extra lean, 3 oz brownedColleg Inn Light & Fat Free 50% less sodium, 1 cup either beef or chickenBon Campo Sun Dried Tomatoes, 23 gram(s) dry no oilGarlic, 1 tsp chopped or use paste
Soak black beans either over night or 1 hour in boiling water
Spray pan and brown extra lean ground beef with chopped onion, peppers and garlic added
Place all ingredients in slow cooker,
Season to taste with black pepper, chili pepper, cayenne or any southwestern flavors
Let cook for 4 hours -the longer the better.
Serves 2,
*can be served with dollop of no- fat sour cream or yogurt
