Ingredients
Apple Filling Ingredients:Zero Calorie Cooking Spray*Smart Balance, Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread, 1 Tbsp, 1 serving *Onions, raw, 1 tbsp chopped *Thyme, ground, 0.5 tsp *Brown Sugar, 1 Tbsp packed *Granny smith apple - 1 med. apple, 1 serving *Apple, Gala (medium), 1 serving *Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp *Nutmeg, ground, 0.5 tsp*Ocean Spray, Craisins Original Sweetened Dried Cranberries 1/3 cup (30g), 1 serving Cream Filling:*Philadelphia Fat Free Cream Cheese, 8 oz *Athenos Reduced Fat Feta Cheese, 2 oz (1/4 cup)*Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), 2 tbsp *Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp *Athens Fillo Dough (5 sheets), 1 serving *Honey, 1/3 cup *Walnuts, 1/4 cup chopped
Directions
Put pan on medium heat and add smart balance to pan. Saute' onion, and thyme until onion is starting to turn clear (1 minute). Add brown sugar and cook for one more minute. Add in sliced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Saute' for 2-3 more minutes. Add in craisins and let plum 2 more minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a food processor place crumbled feta and pulse til breaks down, Add in cream cheese, egg substitute, and vanilla and pulse again til smooth.

Spray tart pan with cooking spray and cover bottom with fillo dough. Spay fillo dough with cooking spray again and gently spread cream cheese mixture over the bottom. Layer apple filling on top of that. Cover filling with walnuts and drizzle honey over the top. Place in 325 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Slice into 6 even slices.

    Saw this lady prepare the recipe on Channel 2 and tried it. I thought the onion and thyme was a different combo but thought I would try it anyway. It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. It reminded me of Thanksgiving. - 2/24/12
