Stevie's Hummus
- Number of Servings: 10
Ingredients
Directions
Chick peas - 1 cup dryLemon juice - to tasteGarlic - 2 clovesMasala Seasoning - to tasteOlive Oil - 1 tbsWater
Boil the chick peas until they are soft. (This could take hours, I just leave them while I do other things)
Once the chick peas are soft put them into a blender, magic bullet or food processor. (I use a magic bullet and have to do this in batches)
Add lemon juice, garlic, masala, olive oil and some of the water you boiled the chick peas in. Start with 1/4 cup of water. You may need to add more.
Blend until smooth. Add more of the seasonings if you wish and add more water for a creamier texture!
Serving Size: Makes about 2 cups easily 10 - 15 servings
