Sweet Corn Bread

3/4 cup whole wheat flour3/4 cup yellow cornmeal1/3 cup sugar2 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp kosher salt3/4 cup 1% milk2 tbsp melted butter1 tbsp olive oil1 lg eggcooking spray
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
To prepare corn bread, lightly spoon the flour & cornmeal into dry measuring cups & level with knife. Combine flour, cornmeal, 1/3 cup sugar, baking powder, & salt in a large bowl, stirring with a whisk. Add milk, butter, oil,& egg. Stir with a whisk.
Pour batter into an 8-inch square pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes or until corn bread is lightly browned & a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes on a wire rack; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack or serve warm. Cut bread into 9 squares.
