3 cups old fashioned rolled oats1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans 1 Tbs. cinnamon1/2 tsp salt
Combine ingredients and spread out in a large cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 6 minutes, stir, and bake another 6-8 minutes until lightly toasted--you'll know it's done by the delicious, toasty cookie-like smell emanating from your oven! Allow to cool, then store in airtight plastic container and use up within a couple of weeks. Can be stored in freezer if you need to keep it longer.
