Ingredients
5 # red potatoes, washed and quartered1 T. salt1/4 t. salt1/3 C. milk1 T. milk1/2 C. butter or margarine1/2 t. black pepper
Directions
Wash and quarter potatoes. Place in large pot and fill with water to cover. Add 1 t. salt, cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and boil 20-30 minutes until potatoes are fork-tender. Drain well and transfer to large mixing bowl. Add 1/4 C. milk, butter, pepper and remaining salt. Beat on low until light and fluffy, add remaining milk if necessary.
