300 g. milk (I use 1%)500 g. flour40 g. sugar9 g. salt6 g. yeast2 tablespoons butter, divided
I'm giving very basic instructions, assuming you already know how to make bread. If you don't, please private message me and I'll give you a couple links that will show you how.
Mix all ingredients (except set half the butter aside to melt for brushing the tops) together by hand, stand mixer, or bread machine, and knead until the dough is soft and pliable. Add a little more flour or milk if necessary to achieve a soft but firm dough. After first rise, shape into approximately 1-ounce balls and place into a buttered 9x13 pan. Let rise again until doubled (and until they just touch each other), brush with the second tablespoon of butter, and bake about 25 minutes in a preheated 350F oven.
Serving Size: Makes 2 dozen small rolls
