Quick & Easy Tomato Tortellini Soup

Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil3 medium onions, chopped2 cups celery, chopped2 cups carrots, diced1 can (5.5 oz/156ml) Hunts Tomato Paste1 carton (900ml) Campbell's Chicken Broth1 can (540ml) Aylmer Accents Cracked Black Pepper & Roasted Garlic Petite Cut Stewed Tomoatoes1 jar ( 650ml) Classico Italian Sausage, Peppers & Onions Pasta Sauce1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp pepper1/2 tsp sugar1 tsp dried thyme1 bay leaf
Directions
Heat oil over medium heat.

Saute onions, celery and carrots for about 10 minutes until onions are soft.

Add tomato paste, chicken broth, stewed tomatoes, pasta sauce and seasonings.

Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, until carrots soften a bit.

Add pasta and continue to cook for about 5 minutes - or however long the package directions say to cook for.

Remove bay leaf and enjoy

Serving Size: 8 servings of 2 cups = 267 calories or 16 servings of 1 cup = 134 calories
