Spicy BBQ Asian Meatballs

Ingredients
1 lb. 93% lean ground beef1/2 cup Japanese Panko breadcrumbs4 scallions, green and white parts finely chopped1 large egg plus 1 egg white1 teaspoon lite soy sauce4 teaspoons fresh grated ginger4 cloves of garlic, minced1/2 cup barbeque sauce1/4 cup Chinese plum (or duck) sauce2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce1 teaspoon Sriracha (hot chili garlic sauce)
Directions
1. In a large bowl, combine beef, panko, scallions, egg, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Mix thouroughly but gently with your fingers. Roll into 1-inch balls.
2. Mist slow cooker (crock pot) with nonstick cooking spray. Add meatballs. In a small bowl, whisk together barbeque sauce, plum sauce, hoisin sauce, and sriracha. Pour over meatballs. Gently stir to coat.
3. Cover and cook on low until meatballs are cooked through, about 4-5 hours.

Serving Size: Serves 4-6 (dinner portion) or 10-15 (appetizer)
