Ingredients
Cookies:2 cups of sugar1 cup unsweetened cocoa1 cup imperial margarine softened1 cup sour milk1 cup water2 eggs2 tsp baking soda1 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt1 tsp vanilla4 cups all-purpose flourFrosting: 4 cups powdered sugar1 cup imperial margarine softened1 tsp salt2 tbsp milk2 tsp vanilla1/2 tsp mint extract1/2 cup crushed starlight peppermint candy.
Directions
Preheat Oven 400

Mix together the cookie ingredients making sure each ingredient is fully incorporated before adding the next. When adding the flour mix for 3-4 minutes to make sure it is well blended.

Drop in rounded spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 400, 7-9 minutes

Remove from oven and cool on a rack.

Make the frosting by combining all ingredients except the crushed mint candy. Frost each cookie and top with some crushed starlight candy (I like mixing the red and green mints to make it extra festive).

**This is a treat that I make to give away in small quantities...believe me, I give them away as fast as I can :)
