- 1 box Kraft Pasta Salad Classic Italian
- 2 quarts (8 cups) water
- 1/2 cup Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing
- 2 servings Perdue Perfect Portions, Italian
- 1 tbsp Blue Bonnet Light Margarine
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp oregano, ground
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1/4 tsp parsely flakes
- 4 tbsp Kraft 100% Grated Parmesan & Romano Cheese
- 4 tsp Kraft 100% Grated Parmesan & Romano Cheese
- In 2 quart sause pan, bring water to boil. Stir in contents of Pasta and Vegetable pouch. Cook 9 to 11 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally; drain.
- Rinse pasta with cold water; drain.
- Meanwhile, preheat skillet to medium heat. Just before adding chicken add 1/2 tbsp butter to skillet and allow to fully melt.
- In a ziplock bag add garlic, oregano, basil, parsely and 4 tbsp cheese. Shake well before adding chicken. Coat chicken 1 breast at a time and place in buttered skillet..
- Cook chicken for 15 minutes, flipping frequently to avoid charring.
- After pasta has been rinsed, mix dressing and contents of spice pack in large serving bowl until well blended.
- Add pasta and vegetables; toss to coat. Serve immediately.
There are 4 servings of pasta as directed on package, we split the pasta evenly for 2 instead of wanting seconds.
