Ingredients
1.5 T canola oil1 cup dry lentils (rinsed)1 small onion chopped2 cloves of garlic minced3/4 cup coarse bulgur3 cups vegetable broth2 1/2 cups watersalt & pepper to taste1 T dried cumin
Directions
sautee onion in oil
add garlic
add lentils and toast for a few minutes
add vegetable broth, bring to a boil
add bulgur and water
bring to simmer and cook until lentils and bulgur achieve porridge consistency
serve warm
