Ingredients
1# 96% lean ground beef, browned and drained (I also rinse it under hot water to really get the grease off)1 package taco seasoning (low sodium)2 can(s) refried beans (I use the black bean type)1 small container Daisy Light sour cream1 jar Newman's chunky medium salsa1 (1.5 cup) package 2% Mexican blend cheese, shredded
Directions
Add taco seasoning and a little water to browned beef in pan. Stir to coat. While ground beef is cooking spread beans in bottom of rectangular casserole pan (or like dish). Layer sour cream next, followed by salsa. Then evenly layer ground beef mixture over salsa and sprinkle cheese over beef while warm (so it melts slightly). Serve with tortilla chips of choice (we like baked scoops).
