Pumpkin Dessert Squares

Ingredients
Base:1 box yellow or white cake mix minus 1 cup1/2 cup butter, melted1 eggFilling:3 cups canned or fresh pureed pumpkin2 eggs1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice2/3 cup milk1/2 cup brown sugarTopping:1 cup reserved cake mix1/2 cup sugar1 tsp cinnamon1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F.

Grease a 9x13 inch pan.

Prepare the topping: Mix the cake mix (don't forget to take out 1 cup of mix for the topping!) with the melted butter and egg. Spread evenly in bottom of greased pan.

Mix filling ingredients thoroughly until smooth; pour over base.

Combine the 1 cup of cake mix with sugar and cinnamon and then cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle evenly over filling.

Bake for 40-50 min, or until topping and base are lightly golden and the filling is not wobbly.
