Simple Southern Succotash Soup

8oz frozen okra8oz frozen lima beans8oz frozen corn1 14.5oz can diced (or petite diced) tomatoes (undrained)1 small sweet onion3 oz salt pork, rinsed and dicedwater
-Place okra, lima beans, corn, and tomatoes in soup pan. Fill tomato can with water, use water to just cover vegetables.
-In a separate pan, begin to cook salt pork and onions. Cook until onions are just transparent, do not brown onions.
-Combine salt pork and onions into soup pan. Bring to soft boil.
-Cover and simmer for one hour stirring occassionally, or until vegetables are to desired doneness.
