Berried Burgers

1/2 cup fresh blueberries, lightly mashed with a fork2 cloves garlic, minced1 shallot, minced2 tsp lemon juice1/2 tbsp whole-grain mustard12 oz ground skinless chicken breast3 tbsp crushed cracker crumbs1/4 tsp dried basil1/4 tsp cumin1/4 tsp sea saltpinch black pepper4 soft hamburger buns (such as potato rolls or my Cranberry - Sweet Potato Buns), toastedlemon mayo, mustard or other desired condiments to serve
In a bowl, mix blueberries, garlic, shallot, lemon juice and mustard in a bowl.
Add meat, cracker crumbs, basil, cumin, salt and pepper.
Gently mix with your hands until thoroughly combined.
Divide into four patties. Place on a plate, cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking.
Preheat the broiler, a grill pan or a skillet to medium-high and mist with spray oil.
Cook patties 5 to 6 minutes per side.
Serve on toasted buns with desired condiments.
