Quick Homemade Tomato Soup

2 Tbsp chopped Garlic2 Tbsp olive oil1 box Swanson's fat free chicken broth4 cans Del Monte Stewed tomatoes (onions, celery, green pepper)dash of hot sauce, (optional)handfull of elbow maccaroni, (optional)
In large stock pot, Saute garlic in olive oil until lightly browned. Add chicken broth, stewed tomatoes, and hot sauce. Using an immersion blender, blend until desired smoothness. Cover and bring soup to a boil, and if desired, toss in a handfull of elbow maccaroni. Turn heat to low, and simmer 20 to 25 minutes, stirring often. This can also be made in a slow cooker. Just brown the garlic in a small sauce pan before mixing with the rest of the ingredients. Serve with cheese crackers, grilled cheese or nothing at all.
