Buttermilk Blueberry Breakfast Cake

Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter1 tsp lemon zest1 cup sugar, save 1/4 cup for the topping1 tsp vanilla1 egg, room temp2 cups flour2 tsp baking powder1 tsp salt1 cup blueberries, more if you like1/2 cup buttermilk
Directions
cream butter and 3/4 cup sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together and add to the butter/sugar mixtures, alternating with the buttermilk. Stir in the blueberries. Bake in 8 X8 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees. 35-45 min
