Crockpot Cheeseburger Soup

Ingredients
1 sm. onion chopped1 lg. carrot grated1 lg. stalk of celery2 medium potatoes chopped2 cloves of garlic finely minced1 T butter3 c. beef broth1 c. nonfat milksalt and pepper to taste1 lb. ground beef cooked and crumbled1 cup of 2% shredded cheddar cheese6 T. of cheese dip (w/jalapeno)
Directions
Melt butter in nonstick frying pan, add onions, carrots, celery and garlic and cook until softened.(3-4 mins)
Put these veggies in preheated Crockpot. Season the ground beef with the salt and pepper , brown and crumble in the same frying pan then drain well and add to the crock pot. The chopped/diced potatoes should be added next along with the beef broth. Set the timer for high, and cook for 3-4 hours. Add the milk and cheese heat through and serve.
