Roseann's Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients
* *Whole Wheat Flour, 2 cup * Baking Powder, 1 tsp * Baking Soda, 1 tsp * Pecans, .5 cup, chopped * Salt, .25 tsp * Cinnamon, ground, 1 tbsp * Egg, fresh, 2 large * Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp * Orange Juice, 2 fl oz * Milk, nonfat, 1 cup * All Fruit Strawberry Preserves, 3 tbsp * Orange Peel, 1 tbsp * Banana, fresh, 2 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) * 1/2 cup apple sauce (unsweetened) * 1/2 cup brown sugar (optional- depending on if you want more of a sweet taste)
Directions
Makes 12, 2" servings


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour non-stick bread/loaf pan.

In large mixing bowl... Add all dry ingredients &
stir,
In Medium bowl... Add all wet ingredients together and stir.
Mix all together and stir well.
Put batter in greased/floured loaf pan and bake for 1 Hour and 10 minutes. Check to see if bread is cooked, by probing with tooth pick. If not completely cooked, continue cooking at 5 minute increments until thoroughly done.
