Balti Shrimp (dish a day)

Ingredients
2 fresh green chilies1 medium onion, coarsely chopped1 T lemon juice1 T tomato paste1.5 T cilantro1/2 t coriander1/2 t chili powder1/4 t ground turmeric1/2 T water (optional)1.5 T canola oil16 large raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
Directions
seed and thinly slice 1 chili, set aside for garnish.
In a food processor, add 1 whole chili, onions, lemon juice, tomato paste, 1 T cilantro, coriander, chili powder, turmeric, salt and make a smooth paste (add water if necessary).
heat oil in wok or large heavy bottom skillet. add spice paste and cook, stirring constantly for 4 min or until thickened.
add shrimp and cook, stir constantly 4-5 min or until they change color.
transfer to warmed serving plate, garnish with sliced chilies and remaining cilantro, serve imed.
