Green Chili and Sour Cream Sauce

3 T Butter3 T Flour2 C Chicken Broth1 C Sour Cream1 4 oz. can green chilies1 t dried cilantro1/2 t onion powder1/2 t garlic powder1/4 t pepper1/2 t chili powder
In a medium sauce pan, melt butter, stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Add broth and whisk until smooth. Heat over medium heat until thick and bubbly.
4. Stir in sour cream, can of chilies, cilantro, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Make sure that you don't bring this to a boil- you don't want to have curdled sour cream!
5. Pour over enchiladas and top with remaining cheese. Bake 20-22 minutes.
The calories are calculated only for the sauce, not for whatever enchilada you decide to put it over. You could also lower the calories and sodium using low fat sour cream.
