Black Beans & Rice

Ingredients
1 chicken breast, cooked1 link turkey sausage (7 oz)1 Tbsp chopped onion2 cups cooked white rice1 can diced tomatoes1 can black beansCajun seasoning / Tabasco sauce
Directions
Make 2 Cups rice. Meanwhile, heat chopped chicken breast, turkey sausage, and onion in a skillet. Combine meat, rice, black beans (drained & rinsed), and tomatoes. Heat until warm thru-out and well mixed. Add Cajun Seasoning and / or Tabasco sauce to taste.

Serving Size: makes approx. 4 servings (2 cup)

    Good recipe. If you rinse and drain the beans you will loose a lot of flavor. With out the bean juice it tasted too much like tomatoes. I added some of the bean juice and allowed it to cook a little longer to thicken it up. I will definitely make this recipe again. - 10/29/16
