Homemade Tomato Soup

Ingredients
Red Ripe Tomatoes, 8 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Garlic powder, 1 tbsp Pepper, black, 1 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp Curry powder, 1 tsp Basil, to taste
Directions
Cut stem side of tomato off. Slit tomatoes in an x across each tomato on the under side and place them cut side down in a baking dish. Add seasonings and onions. Add a small about amount of water just to come up over the base of the tomatoes. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Allow to cool just slightly. Put in Blender. Blend and serve. Add milk for a creamier consistency (note that nutritional value will change).
