Sour Mushroom soup

Ingredients
1 cup chopped onion2 Tbsp butter6 cups sliced mushrooms8 cups sauerkraut, juice only4 cups tap water
Directions
saute onions in butter
add mushrooms
drain juice from sauerkraut, add juice to pot
add water.
let cook untill mushrooms are tender.
place reserved sauerkraut on side for future use.
