Corn Meal Muffins

Ingredients
1 cup cornmeal1 1/2 cups buttermilk1 1/4 cups flour1 1/2 tsp baking powder1 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt1/2 cup sugar1 egg1/3 cups canola oil
Directions
Soak the cornmeal in the butter milk for 10-15 minutes. Mix together the dry ingredients. Once the cornmeal mixture has been soaking for the allotted time add to it the egg and oil. Then add the cornmeal mixture to the dry ingredients.
