1 lb. lean ground beef1 t. sea salt1/2 t. ground black pepper2 T. chili powder1/2 t. ground red pepper (or more to taste)1/2 cup chopped onion1/2 cup chopped green & red bell pepper2 - 15.5 oz cans Brooks Chili Hot Beans1 28 oz can Hunt's Petite Diced Tomatoes1 28 oz can Hunt's Crushed Tomatoes
Brown ground beef until crumbly & no longer pink; drain off any fat. Stir in chopped onions & peppers, cook until onions are translucent. Add salt, pepper, chili powder and red pepper, stir. Add tomatoes and beans, stir throughly. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for 45 minutes - 1 hour.
