Ingredients
4 tbsp whipped butter4 tbsp flour2 cups 99% fat free chicken broth1 cup chopped onions1 cup chopped green onions2 cloves chopped garlic1 cup diced canned tomatoes2 pounds shrimp1 tsp salt1 tsp ground black pepper1 dash cayenne2 tbsp dried parsley or 1/4 cup fresh
Directions
make a dark roux with the butter and flour. Add onions & garlic. Saute until softened. Add tomatoes, broth and seasonings. Bring to boil. Sauce should thicken. Add shrimp. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes.

Serve over rice.
