Ingredients
1/2 pound baby carrots1 medium onion, diced1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped intobite-size pieces1 (3-lb.) chicken, cut upSalt and pepper, to taste3/4 cup low sodium chicken broth1 teaspoon dried basil
Directions
Place vegetables in a slow cooker; add chicken, then broth, salt, pepper and basil. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 3 1/2 to 5 hours.
