Barley Mushroom Soup

Ingredients
6 1/2 Cups water1/2 Cup barley1 medium onion, chopped1 tbsp soy sauce1 tbsp parsley flakes2 tsp dill weed1/2 tsp ground cumin1/4 tsp garlic powder1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper1/8 tsp horseradish powder (wasabi)1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced2 Cups shredded cabbage
Directions
Place the water, barley, onion and seasonings in a large pot. Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes. Add the mushrooms and cabbage and cook for another 30 minutes
