1 cup toasted buckwheat groats (kasha)1 cup mixed raisins and chopped dates4 cups grape juice¼ teaspoon salt½ cup soybean flour½ cup brown rice flour½ cup whole-wheat pastry flour1 cup rolled oats
Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
Bring the buckwheat groats, dried fruit and juice to a boil.
Add salt reduce the heat and cover the pan.
Simmer for 15 minutes. Uncover and let cool for 15 minutes.

Form the dough into small balls. (Tip: it helps to dip your fingers in cold water)
Roll the balls in the oats.
