~12 oz beef, cubed~1 gold potato, cubed~4 large stalks celery, chopped~3 large scallions, chopped~2 large carrots, chopped~.25 cup chopped ginger root~.25 cup chopped onion~10 chopped basil leaves~.5 cup chopped kale~.25 cup 1% milk~1 cup water~1 tbsp curry powder~1 tbsp chili powder~1 tbsp cinnamon~1 tsp black pepper
Place all items in crock pot or pot and stir.
Leave for 6-9 hours on low heat, or 3-4 on high heat. If you're going to leave it for longer, I'd suggest adding a little bit more water.
This is really nice served over some brown rice to sop up the extra sauce, but it's not necessary. Calorie amounts don't include rice here.
