Cocoa Roast Almonds
- Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
Directions
⅔ cup raw almonds1 T. cocoa powder1 t. saltsprinkle of stevia (to taste)1 T. water
1. Add all ingredients to a bag and you’re ready to shake ‘n bake.
2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
3. Once everything is coated in chocolate, dump the cocoa nuts onto a sprayed pan.
4. I’ve found that cutting off a corner of the bag is the cleanest (and most hassle free) way to get them out.
5. After 8 minutes roasting in the oven they will be done. Seriously, eight minutes, don’t burn them.

Quick, Fast, Simple, Easy! Now that's my kind of recipe! I used a zip sandwich bag, it was just the right size. Everything worked out as advertised, next time I do this I will use a stronger cocoa powder and about half the salt. My only problem was they don't last very long with teen age boys around - 3/9/15
