Whole wheat spaghetti dinner with meat sauce and parmesan cheese

Ingredients
1 lb 93/7 ground turkey1 tsp olive oil1 crushed clove garlic1 medium onion diced1 can Del Monte no salt added diced tomatoes with oregano, basil and garlic1 tbsp no salt added tomato paste.5 cup diced fresh tomato1 tsp dried basil1 tsp dried oregano2 dried bay leaves.5 tsp freshly ground black pepperdash of salt1/4 c water8 oz dried whole wheat spaghetti8 tbsp shredded parmesan cheese
Directions
In a large saucepan with a lid, sweat the garlic and onion in the olive oil over medium, to medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until fully crumbled and well done. Add tomato paste, diced fresh tomatoes and can of seasoned tomatoes. Stir in dried herbs including bay leaves and add the water if not enough liquid for your taste. Simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, and meanwhile, cook the noodles according to the package directions. Drain noodles, serve 1/4 recipe in each dish and sprinkle with 3 Tbsp shredded parmesan cheese.
