Introduction

Very easy recipe that satisfies my craving for Chicken Parmesan. Very easy recipe that satisfies my craving for Chicken Parmesan.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

18 oz. Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
1 jar Ragu Spaghetti Sauce (90 calories per serving)
1 1/2 cup Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

Place chicken in crock-pot. I use "TenderBird" brand frozen chicken tenders (1/2 of 3 lb bag) and I do not thaw. Spoon Ragu sauce over the chicken and cook on low for 6-8 hours. About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken and sauce. Cover and let cheese melt. I serve this with steamed broccoli and a salad.

Note: I have started using Classico brand Fire-Roasted Tomato and Garlic sauce (50 calories per serving).

Makes 6 servings.

I didn't have spaghetti sauce so I used a big can of diced tomatoes & onions & fresh herbs & defrosted the chicken a bit in the microwave & set it on high for 3+ hrs & turned out marvelous. Thank you for this way too easy recipe. I grow my own herbs in the garden this yr. this has been awesome idea - 7/27/11

I made this for Sunday dinner and my family enjoyed it! I seasoned my skinless chicken the night before in "basil & garlic" seasoning and used "fire roasted tomato" bertolli sauce and it was on the money! - 10/12/09
