Crockpot BBQ Pork Shoulder Ribs/Country Style Ribs

2 4.5 oz ribs1 med Spanish onion, sliced thin1/4 tsp kosher salt1/4 tsp ground black pepper1/4 c. dark brown sugar1 c. apple juice2 cloves garlic, minced1/2 c. bbq sauce
Place onions on bottom of crockpot, cover with salt and pepper. Add brown sugar and garlic. Place ribs in crockpot, and rotate to cover in seasonings. Cover with apple juice. Cook 8-9 hours on low. Add bbq sauce, cook additional hour on low.
