Marinara Sauce with Spaghetti

Ingredients
2 cans crushed or diced tomatoes1 can tomato paste1 large onion (or more, to taste)8 cloves garlic, chopped (to taste)1 T olive oil2 t sugar2 t basil1 t oregano1 t salt1 t pepper12 cups hot cooked pastashredded parmesan, to taste
Directions
mix all ingredients except pasta and parmesan in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours, or 4-5 hours on high. Serve over hot cooked pasta, top with parmesan.
