1 18.50 oz. yellow or white moist cake mix1 large egg1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened1/3 cup skim milk6 oz. or 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Heat oven to 325 F. Lightly grease or spray with pan spray a 9" X 13" pan.
Place cake mix, egg, butter, and milk in a mixing bowl. Stir or beat with mixer just until a stiff dough is formed. Stir in the chocolate chips. Spread the dough out in the baking pan with a bowl scraper that has been sprayed with pan spray or brushed with oil.
Bake at 325 F degrees for about 30 minutes. The dough may pull away slightly from the edge of the pan; and the surface will be lightly and evenly brown across the top.
Serving Size: Makes 24 bar cookies.
