SAUCEI can tomato soup (420gms)1 can crushed tomatoes (425gm)1 cup water1 teaspoon oregano2 tsp beef stock powder1/2 cup finely chopped onion1 teaspoon crushed garlicMEATBALLS500gms lean minced beef1/2 cup raw long grain rice1 egg1 teaspoon beef stock powder
Preheat oven to 190C
In a large covered casserole dish, mix together all the ingredients for the sauce.
In a medium sized bowl, mix the meatball ingredients together with your hands.
Form into 12 round meatballs and drop into the sauce.
Cover the casserole dish and place in the heated oven for 1 hour.
Serve with steamed broccoli, brussel sprouts and carrots.
