for a thinner version, you can do the same with whole wheat tortilla's cut into triangles, using a pizza cutter.

Made these to accompany hummus. My pita breads were very thin; sprinkled with some parmesan cheese and smoked paprika; cooked 4 min 1 side in 400 degree oven. Excellent. Easy, healthy, will make again. - 7/29/12

I just made these and had them with some black beans I'd cooked in the slow cooker with taco seasoning. Our local store has mini whole wheat pita. 80 calories per serving. One pita round with 1/2 cup of black beans made a great snack. - 7/28/12

Tabouleh is very easy to make! 1 bunch curly parsley chopped, 2 tomatoes and green onion diced, 1/2 - 1 cup finely ground bulgar wheat, olive oil, lemon juice, salt/pepper,a few tbsp dehydrated mint.. sprinkle of cinnamon/allspice. first~ soak wheat in cold water. Chop/dice veg. mix all. season..eat - 1/1/13

I've had something similar, and they really hurt the teeth, and didn't impart any interesting flavor. I pair celery sticks or kale chips with my hummus! Far far healthier indeed! PS... I am with the person below wanting to know that tabouli recipe -- now that one looks like it could be awesome. - 9/19/12
