Caramel Coffee Creamer ( Homemade )

Ingredients
1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk3 cups Fat Free milk1 tsp Vanilla extract
Directions
Caramelize the sweetened condensed milk:
Empty the sweetened condensed milk into a large microwave safe bowl. The large size bowl is essential, otherwise the caramel will expand and overflow.

Microwave this for 2 minutes on high, stop and stir.
Microwave at 15 second intervals thereafter, stirring in between each interval, until it achieves a rich caramel color and gets thick (similar to caramel sauce for ice cream) (Between 5-7 minutes total).

Heat the milk in the microwave until very warm but not boiling (watch so the milk does not scorch).

Gently pour milk into blender and turn on low - keep top off the blender. Slowly add hot caramel to the milk - blend until mixed well. Add vanilla and blend once more.

Transfer to a storage container and refrigerate. Use in your hot coffee.
