2 (8 oz.) Cans Pineapple Chunks in Juice2 Tbsp. Cornstarch1/2 tsp. Salt1/2 C. Maple Syrup1/3 C. Water1/3 C. Cider Vinegar1 Lg. Green Pepper, Cut into 1-in. Pieces16 oz. MorningStar Farms Sausage Links1/2 C. Maraschino Cherries, Halved
1. Drain the pineapple, reserving juice. Set the pineapple & juice aside. In a large saucepan, combine the cornstarch, salt, maple syrup, water, vinegar & reserved pineapple juice until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook & stir for 2 min. or until thickened. Add the green pepper; cook 2 min. longer.
2. Meanwhile, in a skillet, brown sausage; drain. Cut each link into thirds. Add the sausage, cherries & reserved pineapple to saucepan; heat through.
