Dad's Old Fashioned Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 11.5 oz. or 12 oz. Bag of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips2/3 of a Cup of Melted Butter or Margarine (Nutritional Values are from Imperial Margarine)2 Cups Lightly Packed Brown Sugar2 Large Eggs2 Tbsp. Hot Water1 Tbsp. Vanilla or Vanilla Extract2 and 2/3 Cups of Ordinary Flour1 tsp. Baking Powder1 tsp. Baking Soda1/4 tsp. Salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Combine by either stirring or mixing, the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and hot water. Mix thouroughly. Gradually stir in flour, baking powder and soda and the salt. Combine into a good dough. Mix in entire bag of chocolate chips.

On an ungreased baking sheet, drop tablespoonful size pieces of the dough about 2 inches apart. Bake for about 9 minutes, until lightly browned.
